Joy Global Inc. offers excellent benefits, a continual focus on training and development and a financially sound company in a growing industry. We are currently hiring an Account Manager for our Virginia, MN location.
Responsibilities
1. Establish and maintain a positive, professional relationship with all levels of customers employees at designated accounts. This includes corporate roles and functions
2. Actively promote, integrate and manage all products offered by Joy Global: Including P&H products, contract services, technical services, LeTourneau, Pyramid Parts, Berkeley Forge and Tooth, Stamler, CCC products, Van der Graff, Unicast, Liebherr.
This includes planning, forecasting and business activity.
Establish pricing and prepare formal bid/quote documents.
3. Look for new growth opportunities, evaluate market data, prepare summaries and integrate selected businesses/products into our systems.
Analyze major product for integration into our ENCORE program. Prepare spreadsheets for evaluation.
4. Maintain business relationships with alliance partner suppliers and other product manufacturers.
5. Strive to achieve sales forecasts, maintain and improve margins and control costs.
6. Resolve warranty issues while maintaining a positive relationship with the customer.
7. Provide technical assistance. Interpret drawings and communicate information to the customer.
Qualifications
1. Associate degree required, 4 year degree preferred.
2. Experience interpreting engineering/schematic drawings preferable.
3. Business management experience beneficial.
4. 2-5 years experience with sales and marketing of related products, maintenance and operations.
5. Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Proficient with MS Office and use of internet based sales support programs.
7. Travel required (10 - 20%).
8. MSHA Certification a plus.
9. Valid Drivers license.
